Yesterday’s update: I took it easy. Riding through the mountains means lots of speeding up and slowing down. On a carburated bike it takes just a little longer to speed up at elevation, and slowing down causes a few backfires. If you ever get the chance US40 from Kremmling, CO to Steamboat Springs, CO is an amazing ride, full of twists and turns and steep grade. I only rode 332 miles yesterday after a late start and calling it an early night. The picture is of two motorcyclists headed west, I like the way people can become welcome additions to the scenery out here.
