My take on LOST's finale. [SPOILERS]
Without mysteries there can be no faith.
That being said, the resolution of the remaining mysteries wasn’t as important resolution for the characters. I know there’s at least 2 characters that many feel weren’t resolved well, namely Eko and Walt, however I feel their stories were simple and rich enough to negate the need for further discourse. Eko I feel was a loner, he didn’t need anyone to come to his resolution, he went to his special place without the others on the island because that’s how he rolled, alone. Walt on the other hand I think was bigger than the island and the other passengers on Oceanic 815, perhaps he’s truly immortal, or given the visions of him on the island some had, perhaps he went back and became one who wandered like his father. I don’t think their answers are important to the series.
I also like the idea that the events and mysteries in life aren’t as important as those you experience them with.
