Pho 79 - November 20, 2015
School, moving, jobs, marriage, kids. Lots of things can change the amount of time you get to spend with your good friends. But you find a way to make time. Quick dinners here and there, small vacations to hang out once or twice a year.
Since it’s soup season, my friends Bruce and Rochelle suggested we meet up at Pho 79 and catch up. I like the broth a little better at Quang, but enjoy the meat combinations and noodles better here.
Sometimes simple is what you want and need, especially when you need to go home and start baking a cake.
PHỞ TÁI, CHÍN - rare lean beef and well done brisket: one of my usuals, simple, solid. I enjoy the chew on the lean beef and the flavor the well done brisket brings.
